UCSB's most accomplished sprinter illustrated her fearlessness by challenging for a spot at the women's cross country time trial. Despite narrowly missing the standard, Washington will suit up for at least two races. Last cross country season Washington was in the Gauchos' top 7 at the Cal Poly SLO invite.
Washington is the school record holder in the 100m, 200m, and 400m events in track.
