2007 Season -- Finished 7th in the 3000m at the Northridge Invitational, clocking in at 10:55.95...Ran the steeplechase at the Cal Poly dual meet and crossed the line in 12:05.77...Again ran the steeple at the Triton Invitational for a seasonal-best 12:00.61.
High School -- Competed for Verdugo Hills in the L.A. City Section... A middle distance standout for the Dons, she won the Sunset Six League 800m title, as well as finishing fifth in the Los Angeles City Section finals. In cross country, Garcia also finished fifth at the L.A. City sectional final in 2004, as Verdugo's only finisher.
