2005 XC recap Red-shirted her 4th cross country season as a Gaucho.
2005 Track & Field Recap Christman had one of the most successful seasons in Gaucho history breaking two school records individually (1500m & 5k), one school relay record (distance medley) and one Big West Conference record (5K). She grabbed two all Conference finishes, one All-Region finish with a 4th place in the 5k and advanced to the NCAA 5k finals finishing 11th.
2004 XC recap The junior won the Big West individual title and was unbeaten by Big West competition all year. Finished 7th at the NCAA Western Regional Meet and 73rd at the NCAA Championships, both the highest places ever at the respective meets for a UCSB female runner.
2004 Track & Field Recap Lauren earned All-Conference honors with a third place finish in the 1,500m at the Big West Championship...qualified for the West Regional Championship in the 1,500m.
2003 XC Recap the NCAA National Championship, taking 83rd place. Earned All-West Region and All-Conference honors by placing 24th and took 2nd at the Big West Championship in San Luis Obispo.
2003 Track & Field Recap Lauren cracked the Gaucho All-time top ten lists at 400m and 800m as a freshman. She won the Big West Challenge Cup 800m and finished sixth in the Big West Championship 1500m..
2002 XC Recap Lauren finished 16th at the Big West Championships, a key contribution to the team's runner-up finish.
High School
Showed great range in high school, winning league titles in the 400m and 1600m...California State Meet finalist at 1600m in 2001...Played soccer for Harbor High School championship team, along with twin sister Lindsay who is also on the Gaucho track and field team. High school pr's of 58.05 (400m), 4:58.66 (1600m), 18:32.4 (5k).
