SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The UC Santa Barbara women's tennis team snapped a four-match winning streak Saturday, falling to Brown 5-2 at the RecCen.
The Gauchos started off the day well, winning the doubles point by sweeping all three matches. The Gauchos, however, only managed one win in singles play. No. 1 singles player Uzma Khan defeated Kerry Meath 6-3, 6-1 for UCSB's lone singles win.
The Gauchos fall to 10-5. Brown improves to 10-4.
UCSB has a tennis-filled spring break this week with four matches. The Gauchos travel to Cal State Northridge Wednesday then travel to Sacramento Friday for matches with Sacramento State, St. Mary's and Nevada.
