SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The UC Santa Barbara women's tennis team lost a 4-3 decision to Cal Poly today at UCSB's RecCen Courts. The Gauchos won the doubles point but went on to lose four of the six singles matches.

No. 101 ranked Uzma Khan won her 10th straight match of the season, defeating Cal Poly's Danielle Hustedt 6-2, 6-1. UCSB's other singles win came at the No. 3 spot where Andrea Pintar defeated Chelsy Thompson 6-3, 6-0.

The Gauchos fall to 6-4 overall and 1-2 in the Big West.

UCSB travels north March 6-8 for matches with UC Davis, Pacific and Utah State. The Gauchos return home Friday, March 14 to host USF.
