The Fastbreakers are the official booster organization of the UCSB Women's Basketball Program. The Fastbreakers provide a strong supportive fan base for the team both at home and on the road. In addition,the unique role of our support group allows for personal interactions with players and coaches.

The Fastbreakers have two primary goals. The first is to enhance the fan experience for all of our individual boosters. The second is to act as a critical fundraising vehicle for the program, allowing the Gauchos to continually compete with the nation's best in NCAA Division I basketball.

In past years, funds raised by the Fastbreakers have been used to pay for individual performance training, video editing software, recruiting services, lap top computers used for study while traveling, and foreign basketball tours. We look forward to continuing to build upon the Fastbreakers tradition as we move into a new era of Gaucho basketball.
