High School -- Whichard placed 8th in the East Bay Athletic League Finals for cross country in 2005 and 2006... He then went on to place 2nd at CIF-NCS Cross Country Finals, which qualified for the State Meet... In track he was 3200m league champion in both 2006 and 2007... Was also 800m and 1600m league champion in 2007... Placed 3rd in the 1600m CIF-NCS final qualifying for the State Meet.
Personal -- Doug also lettered in Golf during his freshman year of high school... Was on the Honor Roll six times and finished high school with a 3.7 GPA... Will be majoring in Environmental Studies.
