2007 Season
Made it onto the traveling squad as a freshman, concluding his first season with an 89th-place finish at the West Regional Championships. His time on the 10k course was 32:27...Ran at the NCAA Pre-Nationals and was the sixth Gaucho to finish, clocking a time of 25:07 over 8k...Was also sixth to finish for the team at the Stanford Invite, where he was 53rd overall.
High School
In both 2005 and 2006 Rotan was champion in the CMAC cross country league finals...He finished fourth in CIF finals...In track, he was league champion in both the 800m and 1600m...He then finished second in the CIF 800m finals, qualifyng for the state meet, where he finished sixth.
