Alexander Scores Six Times as Gauchos Crush UC Santa Cruz 18-9

UCSB junior now has 41 goals on the season as his team improves to 11-7.

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - Brian Alexander scored six goals and Steve Traverso added four as the UC Santa Barbara men's water polo team blasted UC Santa Cruz on Friday, 18-9.

Alexander, the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Player of the Week this past week, has now tallied 41 goals on the season and 13 in his last two matches.

The victory by the Gauchos improves the team's record to 11-7. UCSB will travel to Stanford on Saturday for an MPSF match against the second-ranked Cardinal.
