Played at Carlsbad High School under head coach J.B. Feaster...Helped the Lancers to the CIF Division I Championships in 2005 and 2006 in both water polo and swimming...Named First Team All-Avocado League after helping his team to a perfect 10-0 league record and first place finish...Was also named Second Team All-CIF...His most memorable athletic achievement was winning the CIF championship game by way of a 15-4 score his senior season...Was an Honors Athlete for four consecutive years.

Played club with both Carlsbad Water Polo Club and San Diego Shores...Was named to the U.S. National Development team at age 13 and has since participated in the National Age Group Championships every year...Has trained and competed in Serbia, Montenegro and Spain.
