Senior men's team captain JT Service ran 9:11.88, to qualify for Regionals in the 3000m steeplechase.

On Friday night, red-shirt freshman Scott McConville had a huge kick on the last lap to win his heat of the 1500m in a lifetime best 3:50.91 (#6 All-time UCSB), knocking Head Coach Pete Dolan (3:51.94 in 1982) off the top ten list. "It was a good run," said Dolan referring to his 21 years on the list, "but I'm sure glad I made McConville a 1500 meter runner this year."
