2003 XC Recap:
White was named Team Co-Captain for the 2003 season...Chris was the top Gaucho finisher at the UCSB Lagoon Open, finishing 5th in 24:59...a leader all season long, he was the team's #2 man at Riverside, Notre Dame, and Pre-Nationals. White unfortunately missed the Big West meet due to food poisoning, but rallied to finish 44th at the West Regional in his final cross country race as a Gaucho.
2003 Track
Had a terrific finish at the Conference Championships taking 3rd and earning his first All-Conference honors in the 5,000m event.
2002 Track
Continued to improve through his sophomore year with a strong showing at the Big West Championships where he took eighth in the 1500m with a personal best of 3:55.05 and doubled back for a PR in the 5K, finishing sixth.
2001 Cross Country
The youngest member of the team's illustrious top-7
squad...Played a key role in the team's success en route to qualifying for the NCAA Championships by placing 34th as the Gauchos' fourth finisher at the Western
Regional Meet.
2001 Track
Produced a very impressive true-freshman season,
punctuated by scoring in the Big West Conference 1500m race with an eighth place finish...Logged the fastest Gaucho freshman 1500m time since 1988 of 3:57.19, complimented by a fine 5,000m time of 15:02.48.
2000 Cross Country
Contributed to the Gauchos' second-place team effort
at the 2000 Stanford Invitational as the team's seventh finisher as a true freshman... Set an 8K personal best of 25:37 over the CS Fullerton course.
