Richie set personal bests in the shot put and discus...finished 14th in the shot put at Big West. Alpers won the hammer throw at the UC Meet in Riverside.
2002 Track
In his first season of collegiate throwing, made the Big West Conference qualifying standards in both the shot put and hammer....Transferred from Colorado State where he played football.
