Santa Barbara, Calif.-The 8th ranked USC Trojans defeated the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos 169.5-91.5 at campus pool. The Trojans were paced by All-American Erik Vendt's three victories, which included the 200 fly, 200 breast, and 100 fly.

The Gauchos had notable performances by Seniors Anders Nelson and Marc Cavallero. Nelson turned in the UCSB's first individual victory in the 200 free (1:42.72), while Cavallero picked up the Gauchos second victory in the 100 breast (58.41). Junior Ryan Dingler added to the Gaucho's individual winners with a victory in the 50 freestyle (21.54).
